Memphis in May

It was hot. Got to wear my wetsuit though. That is a plus for me since it gives me extra bouyancy - woo hoo!. It was really HOT!. The run felt like it lasted 4 - EVER. There were more hills on that short run that I could have ever imagined. But I did finish. Unlike Dublin where it was me, I had my family there to support and cheer me on. Reeca - always the cheerleader lead the way. My mom and Dad (who tried to run with me the last mile, but couldn't keep up---ha ha! - that's an exagerration). I sincerely apprectiated all of their support. While the marathon was much harder mentally, the tri was harder physically. The weather (I think it was in the 90's) didn't help either. I ran thru several sprinklers (even turned around and went back to one), but was completely dry less than a half mile later.

Thanks again for all your support. Now what's next is unsure. I still don't like to run, but the tri's are pretty fun.
