Cut Bait – letting go of the stuff
We hold on to on to many things. We have boxes and boxes of stuff that we call “memories” or souvenirs. Think you have too much stuff? Well if you want to find out for sure, there is one thing that you can do…move. You will find out just how much those memories really mean to you. Many of us we hold on the good stuff and every now and then, we go back to it and reminisce.
Some of us hold on to the painful stuff too. These can serve as reminders of who we use to be and how far we have come. Most of the time, they are just painful reminders of sorrow, failures, disappointments or our sins .
It’s not possible to change the past, so we must work on changing the future.
